Britain and Ireland
In Britain and Ireland, The Mortal Instruments is published by Walker Books, UK. The earlier editions looked like this, but they now use American covers.
Italy
In Italy, the series title is “Shadowhunters“, but the books have their individual Italian titles. They are published in Italy by Mondadori.
Germany
In Germany, the books retain their individual English titles, but the series title is “Chroniken de Unterwelt” — “Chronicles of the Underworld.”
France
In France, where the books are published by Pocket Jeunesse, the series title is “La Cite des Tenebres” — The City of Shadows. The title of the first book translated to: The Mortal Cup.
Poland
Spain and Latin America
In Spain and Latin America, the books are called “Cazadores de Sombras” — Hunters of Shadow.
